ABOUT GREESH
GREESH is a grunge-funk band from Bulgaria that fuses the raw intensity of grunge with the deep, infectious grooves of funk. The result: a bold, emotionally charged sound that’s uniquely their own.
The project began as a solo venture by multi-instrumentalist Grisha Georgiev – Greesh, who wrote, performed, and produced his debut album “Zvuk” in 2024. Soon after, the vision expanded into a full band with the addition of Yoana Kuneva (bass & vocals) and Nikola Dzhokov (drums, keys & vocals), forming a powerful and tightly knit trio. Their first single together, “Nyamam nishto za teb”, laid the groundwork for their highly anticipated second album.
The band later welcomed Galathea Moutafova (saxophone & keys), whose expressive playing added new depth and texture to the group’s sound.
And in the summer of 2025 they released the new single “Surf”.
As a fully formed band, GREESH have released their second album, “Shte Luzhesh Li”, in November 2025.
In April 2026, Yoana Kuneva left the band and was replaced by Yana Miladinova (bass and vocals).
GREESH draws inspiration from legends like The Meters, Parliament-Funkadelic, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, blending their influences into something raw, rhythmic, and real.
